Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of curriculum administration within the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 12 Padang. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews with the principal, curriculum coordinator, and teachers, supported by documentation review and observation of curriculum administration. Results indicated that the school had prepared essential curriculum documents such as the School Operational Curriculum (KOSP), annual and semester programs, learning schedules, and academic structure aligned with the Independent Curriculum. Teachers had begun adapting learning tools, including Learning Outcomes, ATP, and teaching modules, although their completeness and quality varied. The main challenges identified were the lack of training, inconsistencies in documentation, and limited academic supervision. Overall, curriculum administration at SMA Negeri 12 Padang has been implemented but requires systematic development through continuous professional development and strengthened supervision.
